Citing Sources & Creating Your Bibliography.
When your teacher assigns a research essay or project, he will inevitably ask you to make a list of all the books, magazines, and websites you used to find your information. Listing those sources is called citing information. The end result is a page called a bibliography. There are many methods used to create bibliographies; your teacher will decide what format you should use. Belmont Library has a general style sheet you can refer to so you can start recording your resources. Please ask Mr. Morrison for a copy.
The following links will take you to sites that will help you to create a correctly formatted bibliography.
